It is my great pleasure to invite you to the inaugural Singapore Math Global Team Competition (SINGA), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. SINGA provides opportunities for participants from around the world to engage in mathematical problem solving based on the Singapore school mathematics curriculum.
In this 21st century, it is not so much what individuals can accomplish by themselves, but what collaboration can achieve, so teamwork is also an important element in this competition.
I hope that the participants will not be here just to compete but also make friends with students from other countries as well. Perhaps there may be future collaborations among the participants that arise out of new friendships made in SINGA!
